We were not happy being in the cold of winter instead of southern warmth. So we decided it was time to get Little House in a warmer climate.
We left Clayton about 10:30 A.M. and stopped at the New Green Acres Campground near Walterboro, SC (exit 53, I-95) about 4 P.M. We have stayed at this campground several times in the past, and it's known for it's very long pull-thru sites which are great for larger rigs towing a car, and then having the ability to stay hooked up on the site. Our journey was slowed somewhat due to very high winds left over from last night's storms, and we stopped 3 times to break up the trip (one pit stop, one lunch stop and one fuel stop).
Our next destination is northern Florida, where we'll stay for a few days before we head further south to Orlando.
