We changed our mind about leaving Raleigh last week. The post office lost our mail shipment after it reached the Fuquay Varina branch (investigation is ongoing). Extending our stay until tomorrow gave us more time to visit with friends, attend another Saturday breakfast and a ham radio meeting. Sunday morning, there was a hard freeze, and Sunday afternoon, Little House got a much-needed bath on site thanks to a local mobile RV Wash business. Today we're meeting Chuck and Mary Jo for lunch.
The wheels will get moving late tomorrow morning, and we're definitely ready to make our way toward Florida for Thanksgiving week, with a stop or two along the way.
