We're in the midst of Hamcation - the second largest hamfest in the country - at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, FL. We arrived on Wednesday and met up with many ham radio friends parking on the fairground property. The hamfest officially began today (Friday) and there seems to be a record crowd to take advantage of the clear blue skies and temperatures in the low seventies.
We'll be here until Monday, February 13, as we enjoy hamfest activities, a pot luck lunch, and evening happy hours in a friendly environment.
