GOSHEN, IN; The Rally Continues

Unlike most rallies or RV gatherings that we attend, the Ramblin' Pushers Maintenance Session is all about education - learning about your RV and what makes it work as well as learning more about available upgrades to its systems. There are 3 or 4 seminars going on at the same time all day long. Many of the vendors here will also perform service work on site, including the parent company - REV (Fleetwood).  There are also sessions on crafts and the RV lifestyle as well as tours offered to some of the RV component manufacturers in the area and some dinner excursions for Amish dining.

Like most rallies, there is ample opportunity for socializing along with plenty of food.  Speaking of food, here's a few details.

Every morning,  a big breakfast is provided.  The offerings include bread offerings ( bagels, whole-grain breads, English muffins...toasted or as is along with toppings), biscuits and gravy, eggs, grits, applesauce, cottage cheese, 7 kinds of cereal, bananas, mixed fruit, several types of juice, a large variety of pastries, coffee, and make your own hot tea and hot chocolate. Announcements and schedule changes are made at the end of the session.

So far, a different vendor has provided lunch every day:  Friday - brats, Saturday- hot dogs/hamburgers, Sunday - grilled chicken sandwiches, today - barbecue sandwiches.

The first two nights, there was an early evening social.  Friday night it included tacos with all of the toppings, strawberries, pineapple, grapes.  Saturday night's offerings were ham and cheese slices on crusty bread, along with cut-up strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, fresh broccoli & cauliflower.

And we've still got 3 days to go!  The weather has been cloudy, very cool with some rain, but activities are indoors so that hasn't been a big issue and the cooler temps have kept severe weather south of us.  There are  217 coaches registered with most of them being Holiday Ramblers, some Monacos and the rest other REV brands such as Beaver and American Coach.  The gathering ends on Wednesday night with a catered sit-down dinner, and we'll leave on Thursday or Friday.
