We're still in Brunswick but at a different location. On Monday, December 11, we moved 4 miles to the Coastal Gerogia RV Resort for a rally with the Metter Roadrunners, a camping club with several members who are amateur radio operators. We met the group through ham radio years ago, and have attended their annual Christmas gathering for several years.
Coastal Georgia is a full-service, pristine campground with concrete pads, full hookups, cable tv and WiFi. There is a large enclosed bulding the club can use with tables and chairs, a large kitchen/serving area, restrooms, laundry, and a huge fireplace.( photos ) There were 10 coaches and 1 non-coach couple attending.. We enjoyed each other's company with conversation, happy hour gatherings, a dinner at Mudcat Charlie's, and a festive party with plenty of food and a Chinese gift exchange.
Friday, December 15, we'll head north to Macon, GA for a visit with more old friends.
