CONCORD, NC; Time to Move On

The Charlotte Hamfest ended today.  We shared table spaces with Raleigh friends, Mary Jo and Chuck Littlewood.  Hank sold tickets and table space for the April Raleigh hamfest, and Chuck sold used ham equipment. Many of our NC ham friends attended and it was great to see them again. We also got to enjoy two dinner outings with the Littlewoods and a good time was had by all.   After "see you in a week or two" hugs and handshakes, we parted company, picked up a prescriiption at Walmart and returned to Little House, now looking lonely in an empty back parking lot.  Tonight, there are still events going on in some of the arena facilities.

Tomorrow, after our departure routine, we'll retract the jacks and point Little House toward Asheboro, NC.  The campground there made it through the ice storm on Friday with no electrical outages (unlike many surrounding areas) so they are ready for our arrival. In contrast to yesterday's icy rain and cold temperatures, today was sunny with highs in the 60's......beautiful!!  Let's hope that trend continues.
