MEBANE, NC; Sunny Days, Good Times

Yesterday (Friday) was another fine day - cold in the morning, and warmed up to around 60, but with strong winds. Some of the group from Sams-O-Wake went  shopping at the nearby Tanger Outlets, some visited old town Mebane.  We stayed around Little House.  Hank was busy with computer work and Selene did laundry, took a walk and updated financial records.  Later in the afternoon, we had a nice visit with a couple who still belong to the chapter but no longer have an RV.  Our group calls them Campers Without  A Camper  (CWC's), When possible, they join our outings and stay in nearby hotels, or campground cabins if available, or just join us for the day when we're close to Raleigh.

We all met at Cracker Barrel for a nice dinner with plenty of good food, laughter and conversation.  After dinner, we went to the campground meeting room for our chapter meeting, then socialized some more.

Today is a little warmer, but still very windy.  We went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch, explored some of Mebane and neighboring areas and did some shopping at Food Lion.  Tonight, we're having pizza for dinner in the meeting room, followed by an ice cream social.
