We left the Charleston, SC area on Sunday around noon for a leisurely drive toward Raleigh, arriving about 5:30 P.M. After getting set up, we went to the house to meet up with Mike, get some groceries, and eat some Mexican food. Monday morning, we got the Tahoe registered in NC (necessary paperwork finally reached us), then headed out for the 4 hour drive to Marion, NC and Tom Johnson's Service Center where we're getting one of our leveling jacks replaced. We're in site 13. Today (Tuesday) we're in the cafe, had our breakfast and now we're surfing the web. The job is supposed to be finished today, and will be covered under our extended warranty (always great news!).
The ant activity has decreased to the point that we're not seeing any more live ones.
Tomorrow, Little House may be heading to Galax, VA for another enjoyable weekend in the mountains with our local camping club, if the jack repair is finished. But more on that as it develops.........
