Today dawned with fog so thick we couldn't see more than 4 campsites around us. There was no more rain overnight and the river behind us was falling although still running fast. We checked with the service department and still no word on when they could work us in (there was a huge event here last weekend and the service orders from that are still being worked. We moved Little House across the road to the Rally Park to site H7 which is very close to the Pavilion where the main events take place. The ground was still soft and Hank adjusted the leveling jacks several time as we sank in the first hour after we parked.
Lunch was a Dutch treat outing to Fatz Cafe for anyone at the rally, and there were about 50 people who made the trip. Our table included 4 couples from our chapter and two other couples on the rally staff. As usual, the food and service were great.
After lunch, we shopped at Food Lion to replenish groceries, then headed back to the campground to watch the activities around us as people arrived and set up, while we were busy at our computers. Still full from lunch, supper was a snack. Selene played Bingo in the evening and won $6.
The Rally doesn't officially start until Friday, but there will be lots of things going on tomorrow for the early arrivals. We still have several chapter attendees arriving on Thursday.
