New Bern, NC: First Night

It's a dark and stormy night in New Bern, NC, but we're glad to be 'on the road again'.  We're in site 47 at the New Bern KOA  with the Neuse River just down the path from our campsite. We've stayed here many times, and we're here this weekend to help with communications for the Bike MS cycling event on Saturday and Sunday, with over 2400 cyclists expected.  This is a great campground and we always look forward to staying here.  Not many campers are here tonight, but that will change tomorrow night as many cyclists will stay here in all types of RV's and many tents.  We'll be here until Monday and we're looking forward to two days of riding the routes and looking for riders to help.  Tomorrow will be a day of preparation and getting with some of the other volunteers at tomorrow night's pre-ride meeting.
