Wednesday was a day of waiting to hear if the extended warranty would cover the leveling system repairs we need..
Yesterday (Thursday) we found out the work was approved (yey!) but the appropriate technician was off, so the work was scheduled for this morning, at least to get it started. Today we're sitting in TJ's cafe, using their good wi-fi after having another tasty breakfast. We'll be staying here again tonight even if the work is completed, to make sure the system is working properly.
When we leave here we've decided to head to our next scheduled event in Charleston, SC instead of driving the many extra miles back to Clayton and then on to Charleston. We're due to arrive there by Monday, Oct. 1 if possible, so travel plans will be made after the leveling work is completed here. We're due to arrive back in the Raleigh area on Sunday, Oct. 7.
There is a little more color in the hills around us as fall is making its presence known here close to the mountains. The daytime temps have been near 80 but nights are cool enough to need the use of our heat pump. Last night we did some shopping at Lowe's Home Center and Food Lion and treated ourselves to one more meal at Fatz Cafe. We're more than ready to move Little House on to a new location!
