Marion, NC; Sixth Night

Today was a great day weather-wise, not too warm with a nice breeze and plenty of sunshine.  More RV's started rolling in early this morning, and by evening it looked like most rigs had arrived.

We started our day going to the Pavilion to do our official registration, get our program and tote bag, sign up for some raffles, and buy Chinese Auction tickets as well as talking with several people.  Today's activities included more Bingo for Selene, while Hank stayed busy watching out for our chapter's guest attendees and getting the RV's satellite system checked out by a DISH representative.  We have no plans to go with satellite tv coverage, but now we know what that would entail.  Our group decided to go to The Steakhouse for dinner where Hank and Selene enjoyed the buffet which was reasonably priced.  The evening Samboree program included a musical  performance by fellow Good Sam members.  This was followed by the State Presidents' meeting which we attended since Hank is president of our chapter. Bedtime is fast approaching and we look forward to another busy and fun-filled day tomorrow which is  the official start of the Samboree..
