Marion, NC; Constant Change

Our plans have changed..........again!

One of our leveling jacks needs to be replaced, so once again we have to get approval from the warranty company for coverage, and once again, they say an inspector's services is needed.  Another 24-48 business hours of delay just for the approval, then possibly a week to get the part since it's very heavy and must be delivered from the manufacturer by freight delivery. Even though the damaged jack is off the RV, they insist they must also see the RV, so we must be here for the inspection.  Yes, that's incovenient for us, but we wouldn't own an RV without the extended warranty, and this is part of the price we pay for that service.

Our revised plan is to stay here at TJ's until a decision is made, then head on down to Charleston, even though it may be Tuesday or Wednesday before we get there.  Then we'll return to TJ's as some point to get the repairs.  We can camp without the jacks, and can even put the slides out if we're level, which we are here.

This gated campground has at least 16 RV's in it tonight. The facility offers Saturday service, although the available crew is smaller, so there will be people coming and going.  Our site is booked for someone else starting tomorrow night, so we're moving Little House to site 64 tomorrow morning, two sites closer to the building.
